Bungoma Queens hosted league newcomers Kisumu All Starlets at Bungoma National Polytechnic, in what turned out to be a baptism of fire for the newly promoted side. Kisumu All Starlets, still searching for their first win of the season, were outclassed by a strong Bungoma side, who secured their first victory in style.Catherine Khaemba and Caroline Khaeamba were the stars of the match, each bagging a brace to lead Bungoma to a dominant win. Despite a consolation goal from Monica Etot, Kisumu All Starlets remain winless in the top tier.

Trinity Starlets continued their impressive form, securing a 2-0 win against Wadadia to remain the only team with a 100% record this season. They now top the table with three wins from three matches.
Jackline Chesang’ is proving to be a key player for Trinity, with her fourth goal of the season making her the only player to score in all three matches so far. Euphrasia Isichi also added to the scoreline, ensuring Wadadia remain winless.

Both sides had their chances, but neither could break the deadlock, leaving Police Bullets frustrated in their quest for three points.That marked the end of Saturday’s action.

On Sunday Bunyore Starlets hosted Kibera Soccer Women at Mumboha Grounds in a match that saw the home side continue their poor run of form. After parting ways with coach Nick Akech following a string of poor results

Maximila Robi broke the deadlock just 15 minutes into the game with a powerful strike. Despite Bunyore Starlets’ efforts to find an equalizer, they couldn’t capitalize, leaving the score at 1-0 by halftime. Shortly after the break, Stella Anyango quickly doubled Kibera’s lead, scoring within the first minute of the second half. Amina Nyakoa added the third goal in the 57th minute, securing all three points for Kibera.

In Kisumu, newly promoted Kisped Queens grabbed their first win of the season in style, defeating Zetech Sparks 4-1 at Moi Stadium.
