Harambee Starlets head coach Beldine Odemba has unveiled the traveling squad for their two friendly matches against Morocco’s national team during the FIFA international break. The matches, set to take place at the Mohammed VI Technical Centre in Salé, present a significant opportunity for the team to showcase their progress on the international stage.
Junior Starlets Duo Earn Maiden Call Up
The squad features a mix of seasoned players and promising young stars. Notably, Junior Starlets captain Elizabeth Ochaka and Christine Adhiambo have earned their first senior call-ups after standout performances in the FIFA Women’s U17 World Cup in the Dominican Republic. Both players are expected to bolster the Starlets’ defensive lineup.
In addition, goalkeeper Christine Adhiambo, who recently transitioned from the U20 team, has also been included, signaling a focus on nurturing youth talent for the future.
FKF Women Premier Top Scorers Earn Call Up
Trinity Starlets’ Jackline Chesang and Diana Cherono from Vihiga Queens have also received their maiden senior call-ups, a reward for their excellent form in the ongoing 2024/25 FKF Women’s Premier League season.
Key Names Returning
US-based forward Mwanalima Adam and Morocco-based Violet Wanyonyi are among the experienced players making the squad. Their inclusion is expected to add depth and leadership to the team.
Key Names Missing Out As Unattached Player Earns Call Up
Jentrix Shikangwa who has been in excellent form for Simba Queens in the Tanzania Women Premier League is conspicuously missing out in the travelling squad.Lorna Nyabuto who is currently without a club has been included in the travelling squad.

The Starlets will face Morocco in the first friendly on Friday, 29 November, at 8:00 PM EAT. The second match is scheduled for Tuesday, 3 December, at 1:45 PM EAT.
